NPH Research Coalition Team | EDRA (Environmental Design Research Association) CORE (Certificate of Research Excellence) Award Recognition Ceremony and Presentation

Event Description and Dates:

I’m thrilled to let you know that our collaborative facility evaluation at Parkland Hospital has been chosen for EDRA (Environmental Design Research Association) CORE (Certificate of Research Excellence) recognition this year. (Please note that this cannot be publicly announced before EDRA puts out a press release, which is targeted for mid-April.) All participants are welcomed to attend the recognition ceremony at this year’s EDRA conference in late May.

Not only did our New Parkland Hospital Facility Evaluation earn CORE recognition, it scored so high against the evaluation criteria that it has been granted “Merit status”. Sample jury comments included the following:

Extremely important work on the implementation of a design—this is the kind of work that is very difficult to do with many stakeholders

It is applicable to practice and the industry at large

Meticulously planned

Very diverse team

Potential reach and impact are big

Combination of mixed methods and in multiple settings makes this an exemplary post occupancy process

CORE recognition ceremony at EDRA50: Thursday, May 23, 12:15-1:45pm (EDT)

All study team members receive complimentary attendance to the ceremony.

CORE presentation session: Thursday, May 23, 1:45-3:15pm (EDT)
